Desperados 2: Cooper’s Revenge (2006) is a sequel to Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive (2001). Both titles are RTT games developed by Spellbound Entertainment. Their stealth-based approach is similiar to the one introduced by Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, but with its non-military Wild West setting and its slightly exaggerated characters and dialogs the Desperados series delivered something new: the experience of playing a suspenseful and at the same time humoristic Italo Western.
This time, John Cooper assembles his gang of bounty hunters to solve a family affair: the murder of US Marshal Ross Cooper – John’s brother. Ross got murdered on behalf of a man called “Angle Face” while investigating Indian raids on settlers in the area around Santa Fé. Searching for Angle Face our bounty hunters uncover an intrigue about land, gold and power in the Indian Territory.
